Anti-homophobia week
The fifth annual International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) is to be held on May 17th. The date marks the day in 1990 when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of mental illnesses.
The Gender Equity Unit, at the University of the Western Cape, is hosting a bunch of films and things for the week 11-15 May:
